Loyal Twin

Sister is crying again
And I don’t know what to do

To help guide her through

Both of us can’t take it
The life that we live
There’s always so much drama
So many people I can’t forgive

Mommy and Daddy live apart
Ever since we were two

Though she thinks that’s untrue

I want the best for her
She doesnt know I put her above

And so I keep finding her in tears
I never knew she cried like me
But no matter how unhappy she is here
My pain tops hers by a million three

At fourteen I found it’s legal
She can live with my dad
I told her that she should
I hate seeing her sad

But my mom wants someone here
To help her through too
So, despite the fact I’m feeling more pain
I’m pressuring her to pull through

My dad is a good man
A man who believes in god
But I’ve never known if he was good
Or if he was displaying a façade

I want her to be happy though
I know I’ll never be
Still she doesnt understand it
I put her above me

If someone were to kill one of us
I’d get down on my knee
I’d beg and plead for them to let her go
Let them know they can have me

And if they chose by any chance
That they wanted us both
I’d beg them to kill me first
Scream to fulfill my oath

Sadly I can’t tell her this
I still have my dignity to show
Though my scars might prove otherwise
Its something she’ll never know

I told you she’s worth everything to me
I put myself in so much strife
Just to prove to her she’s my world
And she’s worth my entire life.
