A boy puts a gun to his head

He falls lifelessly to his bed

A girls raped by her boyfriend
In just one minute
So many wish for life’s end.

A begger freezes on the street
In just one minute
Someone gives in to cuttings defeat.

A wife is hit with her husbands belt
In just one minute
She’ll have a new welt
In just one minute
A kid runs away
In just one minute
So many wish for it to be a different day.
In just one minute
Somebody wants to disappear.
In just one minute
Someone’s crying, if you listen you’ll hear.
In just one minute
At school theres a bomb threat
In just one minute
A drug addiction leads to debt.
In just one minute
A girl feels so alone
In just one minute
You’ll be done reading my poem.
