Disappointments knocking on your door
Seems I'm not what your looking for
What happened to the way things used to be
How come you cant still love me?
You were my present but now my past
We have no future we just couldnt last
So tonight I'll drink the memory of you away
Praying this feeling of heartbreak wont always stay
I want you to know
I loved you more than I let show.
And.....
I want it to kill you inside,
I want you to burn with ache
And I want you to pretend, that your heart didnt just break
I want you to look in my eyes,
Fill me up with more of your pathetic lies.
Tell me I was different than every other girl
Even though you promised youd never let me go.
Tell my why you didn't beg me to stay...
Why'd you just let me walk away...?
Pretend I was never what you wanted
And tell me that you lied
Say you never loved me, and that you never even tried.
While I pretend you cant hurt me
With every word that you say
I'll pretend that I don't care
And I'll move on pretending
Like you were never even there.

    Its nicely done, the rhymes were unforced which was good. I felt a lot of what you're saying has been quite over done in the past but its still a nice piece with lots of emotion.
