My Fate is Siled

by Gale   Jul 20, 2005

There is no such thing as normal,
There is no such thing as perfect,
So why do we try so hard to please a society that will forget?

We put on a mask to hide...
But when its left on to long,
it grows and infects our insides.

It makes us be normal,
In society that expects perfect,
You give in or you give up...and thats how it will flourishes.

Every one who doesn't fit the ideal,
Gets sent off some where,
Where there suppose to heal.

In the society that we live in today,
If your sad your depressed,
and then your sent away.

Girls who are pregnant get the cold shoulder or are pushed around,
Soon lie bleeding on the ground.

For they gave up through suicide but thats not the only way,
Theres drugs and plastic surgery,
All in the hopes to be excepted in the world today.

Me...my mask was broken,
My true face was reveled,
Now I site in the shadows because my fate is siled.
