My needs

Walk in shadows
climb high trees
Reached for stars
But never found my needs

Prayed when i can
Cried on my begging knees
Weeped at your feet
But still haven't got my needs

Gave up on school
Gave up on you
Gave up on me
Because i still haven't got my needs

All I wanted is a hot outfit & a pair of shoes
You said no and looked at me if i was a fool
You gave me 5 dollars to get something to eat
Thinking that that was my need

I'm only 13 i am somebody too
but i guest you view me as if I'm 32
when i die you still wont do for me
Because you figure since I'm gone whats to do for my needs.
