My warning

Why does love have to be so painful?
Why does it always end in hate?
Love is so unpredictable,
I guess that's why we call it fate.

Why should men be so deserving,
Of girls like you and I?
Men treat us as if we have no feelings,
They break your heart and watch you cry.

They tell you that they love you,
But really they don't care.
Then they tell you they don't need you.
Love is so unfair.

I told you that you were always on my mind,
And that I needed you.
You told me I was wasting my time,
And there was nothing I could do.

Maybe I am wasting me time,
Writing this poem about you being so cruel,
But then again I'm warning my girls
To stay away from guys like you.
