WordsWithheldInGreeting

Now I'm not sure if it's love or hate
Could it be that we are destined to meet this fate
Reassemble your clothes
Hide your face from the outside
Nobody knows
Only I do
The cold of these covers soothe my migraine now
You couldn't stop me even if you figured out how
Please, I can't bare it, just don't pretend
I know you're just like everyone else; you're a victim of the trend
These letters keep coming
The only hope I have left written in each page
Could you care less?
I tired to explain
Though you didn't understand it, I think you grasp the pleasure in my pain
I hope you do
Your cause is broken
You are my only token
A living memory of when this clause made sense
Shackled to the walls
You'd smile at the thought
These bonds mean nothing while we reopen my exit wounds
I can smell your sweat and taste your tears
My future mistaken throughout the years
I'll tear you from the map
And leave you far behind
You're a treasure I'd gladly never discover
Smoke that cigarette while your breathe rasps
Do you feel whole?
Masked in that belligerent way
Spoiled before the fight
While knuckles crack and my guts wrench
Cackle while your face hits the floor
You began this epidemic
My case file becomes its close
The door handle stiff
The air sharp and warning
An inbreathe is the signal to pierce the skin
No regret.
