End of Nothing

by Karen Simpson   Feb 16, 2006

Shadowed Tears
Silent Cries
Lonely night
Slowly dies

Strands of hair
Against my cheek
Closely Nearing
Ending week

Memories lost
In pools of shame
Stripped away
Before they came

Coming soon
Nothing to be
Around the bend
Darkness to see

Never forgotten
But still tossed
These lonely tears
Wont cut the cost

Life still grasped
By dirty lies
Hidden beneath
Fearful cries

Brightening light
Coming close
Still I stray
Its what I chose

Tear streaked face
Forever stained
Fall to my knees
Forever chained

Really cool written. I like the short lines and how you made rhymes.

I really love this one because like my "journey through the woods" it describes like something rachel would draw or some beautiful scene from a book. except yours shows so much more emotion! i love it! lol
