Slam Door

by Kaitlin Kristina   Feb 24, 2006

Give me you
For just one night.
That's all he said.
His need, her plight.

Skin touch skin,
Clothes fall off,
Breath goes heavy
Tears unlocked.

Fall, just drop.

Fill her void.
Walk away.
Not your problem.
Born that way.

Project, inject,
Pierce her skin.
There is a hole, yes,
But are you welcome in?

Manipulate, get your way.
Make her hate you.
Make her obey.

So deep, so shallow,
Ruin it all.
One more night.
Not one more call.

Withdrawal.

Break the heart.
Been broken before.
Shattered to pieces.
Stone cold.
Slam door.

You're fulfilled.
Fleeting, yes,
Her feelings are lasting,
Yours to beset.

Smile though, soldier on.
March straight forward,
Down her front steps at Dawn,
Her cries are muffled.
Worthless, Once more.
Don't feel too special,
You're not the first.
Slam door.

Oh this is such a sad piece, but there is so much truth in it. This is a reflection of life, many things are done by people only for the selfish and conceited gains, never thinking or caring about who is hurt.

    Well done!

    Warmest regards,

    Steve
