Lifes losses

by Jenna Lynn   Mar 7, 2006

She cries at night
And doesn't know why
She doesn't want to live anymore
She refuses to try

She has sex non-stop
But not by her choice
No boy really likes her
She's never had a voice

She feels sleepy now
The pills working fast
She wonders how long
She has to last

Her father rapes her
Her mother never cared
She's so sick of her life
And she's had quite a scare

She tried to be good
To keep her legs closed
But he'd forced them open
And ripped off her clothes

Her chest really hurts
It wont be long now
But she's crying harder
And wondering how

She's wondering how
Now one could care
No one would love her
Or even take her there

Only one person cares
And that is her brother
But she cant take it anymore
Her father and her mother

She found something out
That she was with child
Why didn't she fight?
Why wouldn't she get wild?

Her brother walked in
And held her head up
She's fading away
But he wont give up

He grabs her phone
And calls 911
His finger in her throat
Her life cant be done

She starts throwing up
And the ambulance comes
She'll be OK
But the baby is gone

Three years later
Her father's in jail
She lives with her brother
And her mind is still frail

She regrets every day
The mistakes that she made
And thanks her big brother
For the life that he saved.

Her baby is lost
She loves it every day
She knows that in heaven
She'll hold it someday.
