Silver and Gold

by •§ аηgÑ”l §•   Mar 15, 2006

Two bladed sword,
wielding it in my hand.
Thinking about this decision,
and if I've truly gone mad.

One side silver,
the other side gold,
this bloody knife..
Is getting kind of old.

It's rusted and it's stained with red,
which turned out to be the pain,
still trapped in my head.
Singing the same song over.

Holding tightly to the handle,
pulling it up to my face.
I can still see that reflection..
My dull gray eyes,
beating against my heart in a race.

Drawings all over the wall,
written with my blood.
There's so many pools,
I'm surprised it hasn't caused a flood.

One side silver,
and the other side gold..
Pulling the sword up to my head,
and just like paper,
my heart begins to fold.

Releasing it, my grip no more.
Bloody body fallen to the floor.
Silence is no longer needed now,
because no one will know..
They'll never find out how.
