I seen your face

Today I just happened to see your face
But when I looked again you were gone with out a trace
I felt the wetness on my face as the tears started to fall
And every memory I being to recall

Nothings been the same since you been away
With you not there to talk to it gets harder everyday
i try and make it all disappear
But what I wish for is that you were here

And the thought of you in the back of my mind
My broken heart hasn’t healed in time
And I am so sick of pretending like I’m okay
When a part of me has drifted so far away

I wanna be in your arms right now
Every time you held me all I thought was wow
I never thought I could feel that way
And oh how I wish I felt it each and every single day

My heart yearns for the part that it’s missing
With the thoughts of you I always find myself reminiscing
I can’t ever seem to get you off of my mind
I wonder to my self if this is some kinda sing

I don’t know what to do I just wish I could see you
With out you everything just seem so blue
And I wonder where you are and how you been
And what you’re feeling in your heart within

I hope that one day we could still be more then friends
And that some way all the fighting ends
I just want you in my life
I’m so sick of living with this strife

I’m grateful for all the happiness we shared
To that nothing else can compared
The memories I will always have
And the question of what could have happened
