Running blind

by ShadowDancer   Apr 6, 2006

Lips bright red, eyes painted
Every inch prepared
Fingers flexing, muscles twitching
The moments here, do you dare?

Eyes moving, staring at you
More then you would think
But does he look at you
As you move to get a drink?

Flesh exposed, skin tingling
As you move quietly through
The throng parts as you walk
But can he see you?

Drink drops, glass shatters
As you find him at last
His hand up a young girl's skirt
Is your heart beating fast?

Running blind, mascara running
Through tears you can not see
Brakes squealing, headlights blaring
As onto the road you flee

//////////////////////////////////////

Didn't she look pretty that night?
When she walked through that door
But you didn't notice, did you?
Too busy with your w.hore

You know she did it all for you
The money spent, the time
But you were drunk, weren't you?
You didn't see her in her prime

But now it doesn't matter
You pushed her too far
You can't hurt her anymore
And all it took was that car
