I Don't Love You...That's A Lie

by Daenerys Stormborn   May 11, 2006

Here she comes to me in velvet
Feeling like maybe she's in debt
Wrapped up in her dreams of sorrow
Not knowing where she'll be tomorrow
She prays for that day of endless sun
She's waiting for me to say she's the one
She knows I look forward to our passionate nights
She also knows I hate our pointless fights
And when I say it may not be working out
She cries to herself and she begins to doubt
How do I tell her I've already made up my mind?
How do I tell her I would never leave her behind?
She's so scared to be alone, but so am I
That's why when she questions me, I always lie
