Sea-Green Mystery

by Karen Simpson   May 18, 2006

She sat placidly before him
Her eyes screaming mystery
Beckoning him to understand
Her single ambitious plan

To know without a doubt
That he might figure out
Just how much this meant
And how much time was spent

Behind her sea-green eyes
He could see her inner cries
Her desperate lonely long
To never be taken wrong

And her one and only dream
To finally really be seen
And to know that finally
Someone else could truly see
