My Little Buddy.

I have a friend Who is very dear to me.
He is rather yellow, and can float around you see?

He sits right there and never makes a sound.
Sometimes he even likes to play Lost and Found.

When my Mom Yells "Dinner!" I know it's almost time.
I run as fast as I can knowing it's nearly my bedtime.

My little friend he rests right there, just as silent as ever.
I climb up and over smiling widely knowing, he'll be mine forever.

As the water flows, and the tub seems to grow.
My little buddy starts to float, just like not long ago.

I pull the plug knowing we've had our fun.
Smiling widely as I wiggle my toes, knowing that my day is done.

I pet him upon the head and waddle off to bed.
For this was just another day with my Rubber Duck Ted.
