Thin Air

by Karen Simpson   Jul 22, 2006

I dont want to look
But I think Im falling
I can tell Ive gone past
Just merely crawling

The ground beneath me
Turned to thin air
My footing Ive lost
Trying not to care

But Im starting to fall
I can feel myself slipping
Im falling from my place
At the air I keep gripping

This time I know Ive lost
Nothing left to hold on to
I hope theres another chance
Something left for me to do

Mmmmm i like it. i think life too complicated and we should just die or something >.> but sadly i dont think our Daddy would aprove of that (or let us into heaven) so keep on plodding. btw i love the phrase "thin air" it makes me think of a calm but bad situation.

  • My footing Ive lost
[I thought you could maybe say 'My feet I have lost' ..It might sound abit better.]

This was a good poem though, I can relate too. Keep it up!
