Crippled leaf

by FlirtingWithDeath   Jul 22, 2006

Crippled leaf sways high above
Its fragile body is beginning to tare.
It wants to go north
But the wind blows it south
The leaf wants to stop
But the wind goes on.
So fragile the leaf is
Wanting it all to end
Rain storms
And hail
It will go though.
Blazing sun will beat down
Upon it
Freezing tempters will
Brake it.
Let it stop
Let the leaf go in peace
It is ready to go
Let the wind take its rest.

(The leaf is a metaphor of a person who is struggling in life and wants it to end.)
