Wicked World

by INDIE   Jul 29, 2006

As I'm walking on the street
In my head I hear the beat
Melody that tells my pain
Tells me that were all insane

Rain is dropping from above
On me as I searched for love
Happy faces in the crowd
Laughing, celebrating loud

All I want is to get away
You wont notice, anyway
To a place under control
Somewhere they don't sell our soul

Feels so ordinary gray
Wicked world thats blown away
Truth is covered with sweet lie
All I'm missing is a smile

Wicked World falling apart
Slice by slice like lemon tart
Standing all alone in fear
No emotions, just old tears

In my mind theres so much hate
anxiety wont let me wait
Hoping to run in someone
Who in this world isn't numb

Maybe they don't have a home
Thats why suffer all alone
Never jealous of the others
They despise one another

Happy faces are inside
They cant stand the raining night
Tall right street light by my side
Lighting orange in my life

Suddenly I realize
Looking in the happy eyes
Its not rain thats falling down
Faces cry without a sound

Everybody suffers now
Happy faces in the crowd
Smiling masks-what we're all wearing
Raining truth is always scary
