Leaf-in this body

by Smeagol   Sep 14, 2006

Somber anytime leafs fall
There looking at my reflection
How can this be me>?

as they fall there dancing,
light and free
And gently meet the earth

But even beautiful
Orange,yellow and Red leafs
Turn to compost in the end

Even so, there light and free
for at lest once,..

As I walk away, I make it a point
To crush those fragile leafs

that were once so light
they wouldn't
leave a print in the snow
