A Raven and a Dove (part 1)

by FlirtingWithDeath   Sep 15, 2006

Alone a raven sits
His heart torn in half
He cries out for his love
But he knew this relationship
Would not last.

No one believed they were
Truly in love,
How could they?
Knowing she was a beautiful
White dove.

She was wonderful,
So pure in heart,
They flied to the heavens
Celebrating their love.

Two different birds
No one liked it at all,
So one night they took her
Leaving him all alone.

At night he listens
Trying to hear her song,
But he knows in his heart
That she is gone.

He sits in a tree
He has no one to love
His tears slip out
Now he does not know
Where he belongs.
