A hole

by Bursonater   Oct 13, 2006

When I look into myself
I see a hole
When I look into others
I see a hole
A hole that exists for all
A hole so hard to fill

Some fill it with drugs
others with alcohol
but more deny it's existence

A hole not in our mind
a hole not in our flesh
A hole in the very heart
a hole through our soul

A hole not filled by material
A hole not filled by money
A hole the Earth cannot fit
A hole only one can fill

We live to fill our hole
We live to make it bigger
We live for one reason alone
We live for our leader

Only our leader can fill this hole
Only our leader can make us whole
Without our leader we are but a hole,
a hole for our leader

In case you hadn't guessed our "leader" is our Lord Jesus Christ. I believe there is a God shaped hole in all of us that we need to get filled so we may live out our lives happily
