Behind her smile

by ^_^GuitarGal   Oct 18, 2006

Behind her smile
There's a heart, beguile
By a friendship gone wrong
For a time quite long

She has to face reality
Though all she wants is tranquility
Everything makes no sense
But she has no one in her defense

Her best friend spread rumors
To which she could not wear armor
Her friend's true colors she doesn't ken
But innocently forgives her again

She ended up in tears
and fleeing from peers
Enduring sneers
that pierced her like spears
