The battle inside

by kiara   Nov 17, 2006

There is a battle inside each of us
Between light and dark, but I must confess
This battle will never end
Unless a life you spend
The dark side is portrayed as evil
Oh yes I know that sounds medieval
But the world is not a happy place
For a broken heart you cant replace
Time wont stop, just because you want to dwell in your sorrow
In life you dwell because there might be no morrow
But still thereâ??s light all around
So with those sorrows shower them down
There might not always be a morrow
But why waist your time hidden in sorrow
Be a flame and spark the world
Watch your sorrows become unfurled
Light be blessed with your joyful touch
So this is to the world, climb out of your rabbit hutch
Donâ??t give up
Donâ??t turn your life into a Dixie cup
Love is there, but only if you hang on
So donâ??t turn yourself into a pawn
Become the player of you life
Oh and please try to stay out of strife
Theres two sides to everything
So just imagine all the love your joy can bring.

You need to edit this one and fix up the spelling. the ' are making the poem have lots of //// in it. makes it hard to read.

but still found this one kinda funny. and that for me is a good thing. i am not easily amused. lol.
