Through Numbed Lips

On my knees
Lies and deceit
Break me down
Become my defeat

Fumbled words
Broken and course
My words to thee
Grasped with force

Lips chilled numb
Face on the ground
Waves of pain
Not one sound

Broken I remain
Eerie silence ceases
Through numbed lips,
'Yeshua, Forgive me'
