I can't believe i trusted you
how stupid can one be ?
I'm sorry i once cared
while you just needed me

you search for sympathy
from any one who'll care
you fake tears for compassion
and it brings you everywhere

you could only talk about your problems
but didn't care about mine
now we're just where we started
& once again you crossed the line

when you were feeling down ,
you came to me - you called my name
and every time i ran to you
yet i knew it would be the same

i can't blame you for being you
& you can't blame me for hating it
I'm pushing you out of my life
erasing you from my heart bit by bit

I've torn all our pictures into shreds
because i can't look at you anymore
i burned your letters one by one
and now I'm walking out the door

i wish we could work this out
but you have left me no choice
i shiver when i hear your name
i shake when i hear your voice

i don't want you to be near me
you have been too near for too long
& yes - it will be hard without you
but i know I'll come out strong .
