I Wish

I wish that you would love me,
And hold me in your arms.
Tell me that you care about me,
And be here when I'm feeling down.

I wish that you would stand by me,
And say to me what I want to hear.
Tell me you will never leave me,
And fight away all my fears.

I wish that you knew I was alive,
And would want to be with me.
Tell me I'm the only one for you,
And will be with me till the end.
