Trickle

by FlirtingWithDeath   Jan 13, 2007

~Trickle~

Trickle little rain drop
Down my windowsill,
Gather up the courage
To descend on the
Concrete trail.

Trickle little rain drop,
Your time has
Now come,
Let go of your worries,
You will never
Kiss the sun.

Trickle little rain drop,
Your faite is now sealed,
Your path lies before you,
Your hopes and dreams
Have come to a yield.

Trickle little tear drop
Fall down with the rain
Step off the narrow ledge
It is time to end my pain.

I really enjoyed reading this. You used great imagery with such simple words. I had a nice rhythem going whilst reading this poem, nice style. The last stanza is a really good ending for this. Links your emotions and the rest of the story together nicely. =] Great poem. =] 5/5
