Flaws

by AnotherJournalEntry   Jan 18, 2007

WhenI look in the mirror
All I see are the flaws.
I want to see myself clearer
But I can't get past the "blah"s.

When I look in the mirror
I see mistakes God must've made.
I find myslef weirder and weirder
And want my features to fade.

When I look in the mirror
All I see are the flaws.
But people tell me they make me dearer;
I want to scratch them away with claws.

When I look in the mirror
I can't get over the tears.
All of this just makes me drearer:
My hair, my face and my ears.

When I look in the mirror
All I see are the flaws.

Your a great person and always remember that. I thought this was a good write. Many ppl are unhappy with who they are and you nailed the feeling they can have. Superb poem.
