Minor setbacks

by george   Feb 27, 2007

No matter what i do or how hard i try. Things sometimes happen that make me want to cry.
Whether it is not seeing my kids or having
constant trouble with my car, or looking for
love in of all places a bar. Whether it's not
getting that promotion i really wanted at work,
to saying something stupid and feeling like a jerk. My life is a series of minor setbacks. It makes me wonder what i can and cant hack. I
guess i underestimate myself and can handle
more than i thought i could. All i want to do in my life is good. I would hope for some sunshine and the hard times i'd have no longer but that which does not kill us, makes us stronger.

Very good. I don't know if it's supposed to be funny, but I laughed just the same.
I would fix the set up, the rhyme sceme is totally lost in the stanzas.
