American Pride

by Constantinesgirl   Mar 6, 2007

Many people try to take it,
The freedom we try hard to keep.
But it will never be gone from us,
For what we sow, we shall also reap.

Colors of red, white and blue,
They fly high above.
Colors that create a feeling of pride,
Colors we are proud of.

An American I am,
An American I'll be.
And I'm glad to show it,
So that all can see.

I'm proud to be an American,
Lee Greenwood sang it.
And as an American,
I'm proud to share it.
