Graduation..

I was going through my stuff, and I found this poem, which I wrote the night after my graduation from middle school, because many of my friends were moving and I just wanted to remember the graduation. I would really appreciate it if you comment and rate this, because it means a lot, and this poem is very close to my heart. thanks!!!

Graduation
(Written after Graduation from Middle school)

These past three years have flown past
And I knew that they would never last
Friends going to all different places
Having to see new faces
Growing so much for the past years
Even though there were many tears

Middle School is finally over tonight
We stand at City Hall all looking very nice
With our new dresses and skirts
And the boys with their new ties and shirts
Looking at each other before the ceremony starts
Knowing we all shall soon part

We begin to walk in
And then look around again
As the girls shining laces
shine on their teary faces
We go in and listen to the speech
And remembered how our teachers used to teach

Soon after the ceremony ends
And we go and take pictures with our friends
Tears stream down our cheeks
Because we know that many of us shall not meet
We all say goodbye
Trying not to cry

Everyone walks away to different places
and I say goodbye to my favorite faces
and we all try not to be down
and just remember that summers coming around
