Broken glass glitters through the skin on my bare feet,
Shards that numb the ache you`ve given me.
My innocence and purity give me no control,
You stole my heart and shattered my soul.

Oceans of tears that you`ve drained from me,
Under the surface; burning in the third degree.
Day after day, it`s your voice that I hear.
Hour to hour, caught under a shadow of fear.

A smile robbed of its innocent laughter,
