Soft, tender hands caress my cheek.
You come by me and take a seat.
We share a stare, a snicker in the car.
Wow, your hair is best by far.
Your gentle eyes, they pierce me soul.
And it makes my mind lose all control.
As you smile, my breath is gone
now because you kissed me just once.
My mind's a racin', my blood's a pumpin'.
You can feel my heart a thumpin'.
You surprise me with every move
you take. I'm mesmerized by your groove.
You shake my once steady ground.
For some reason, I keep wanting you around
to make this life exciting and full
of purpose. You complete my soul.
Anticipation is building as we run
across a moonlit path, just having fun
with being kids that are almost adults. Not wanting
to let each other go. Longing
for the next moment we meet.
The next time you take a seat
right by mine, just to feel my hand in yours
intertwined by our love for all of time.
