Isn't that the way is it, sometimes. You start out feeling you have no reason to go on, then all of the sudden, you think of all the good things you have in your life.

I know, for myself, that is the case. I look at the world with such a pessimistic outlook, then one of my kids, or a friend will do or say something that just takes my breath away, and I think how much I'd miss that if I was gone.

You did a beautiful job on this one, my friend. Always be thankful.

Cindy...this was such a Great poem. I am a very religous person so this was very touching. You know some people get so wrapped up in their own lives and only look at whats negative in their life and blame God for it, that they fail to see all the blessings they really do have. I'm glad you are not one of those people. We need people like you to witness about the great things God has done for you, maybe we can make some believers out of them :-)

I loved how this poem started off so sad yet continued on to show the love and hope that we can all experience each day if we just open our eyes to it!

Beautiful

At first stanza it makes you feel like sad and so away from happiness..but at the second stanza it rotates you opposite and makes you learn to value the things you've got in life,not the things you lost
