A WEAK SOUL

by Sweet Aroma   May 11, 2007

For I am a weak soul
A soul that holds no strength
That has been walked all over by many
Crushed by the very palms of those who I've trusted
Those who I'e loved; those who I've cared for
Battered and torn by deceit and deception
Lies and back-stabbing
For my soul has stood many battles; lost many wars

For I am a feeble soul
A soul that holds no power
That has been trampled numerous times
Compressed by the hands of those who entrusted me
Those who loved me; those who felt for me
Demolished and worn by phoniness and fraudulence
Bitterness and betrayal
For my soul has stood many battles; lost many wars

For I am a fragile soul
A soul that holds no muscle
That has been ran down by hundreds
Bruised by the grips of those who have shamed me
Those who have bestowed artificial appreciation
Handicapped and lame by dishonesty and disrespect
Insincerity and cold-heartedness
For my soul has stood many battles; lost many wars

For I am a weak soul in every aspect of the word
A soul that holds no strength, no will to go on
That has been shattered by unbearable truth
Flattened by the ones I thought were my army
Whom I thought were my people, my allies
Damaged and manipulated by family and friends
Traumatized and violated
For my soul has fought it's many battles, surviving
Yet to get to the end to fight it's many wars and perish
