That was very nicely written. Also very true. My dad is the same way.

There's a lot of truth in what you write here-though I think 'man' is more than that type of guy deserves to be called. I got custody of my daughter when she was 12, and I tried to be the best father I could and as a result we have always been close. I've seen too many 'men' disregard the needs and importance of their children-truly a shame. This is well written and you really captured some important truths in such an understandable way. Well done!
