A Warrior Fallen...

A warrior fallen... another one lost
A warrior forgotten... except by those who paid the cost
Brothers in arms until the end
For my brother Souza was my dearest of friends
Killed for a country who didn't ever care
About who died over here don't even give a stare
So now he rests under a snow covered hill
With nobody to care why or when he was killed
Only me and his brothers who he saved the life
But with us by his side who needs that ungrateful wife

    I liked this, it began really good. It wasn't really the end I was expecting but, the poem itself was a great write. Lots of emotion and something that I'm sure is hard to go through. Keep writing. 5/5
