The myth of you and me

Would you think it was cute;
if I told you I kept your belongings?
Or would it scare you to know
that i havn't quite yet moved on?

I can see the obvious, though.
I can see it in the other ways you smile;
the ways you are around other girls.
But for some reason I keep thinking;

Maybe there is one spark of hope.
The spark would ignite that its only you and me.
Ill be the only one you notice;
and the only one you hold close.

Those moments I remember;
it seems so childish of me now.
Just to think it was even near love;
but the pressure you put on me didn't hurt. no,

Just the aftermath;
I remember and it seems to scar.
I blush, laugh it off, and think;
stupid little girl, you have it all wrong.

I will move on and face the daily challenges;
but in those times when its quiet;
Ill remember the time where I wasn't alone.
Ill remember the myth of you and me.

btw;;;this poem is about a guy that i guess you could say "used" me and then i ended up liking him in the end. it hurts to know that i was just a booty call, but id be a hypocrit to get mad. ill always [love] you (the person who this poem is about :d)
