What happened to us?

Why don't we talk like we used to?
is it because you have a man?
it wasn't this way before,
but I'm not sure you give a damn.

I know you have a relationship,
and you want it to be good.
but I miss hearing your voice,
we're not talking as much as we should.

I know you think I'm a monster,
but that doesn't change the fact,
that if your boyfriend ain't there,
I'll always have your back.

I know you moved on,
and I know I should to.
but for some reason it's so hard,
and right now there's so much I'm going through.

I'm not sure you miss me,
but I know I miss you,
and every day I reminisce,
about what we used to do.

you're not the same as you were before,
you were like my best friend.
we said we would love each other,
right up until the end.

but where did all the love go?
all the love and trust?
there's still one thing I want to know,
what happened to us?

    When i read your poem it was heartwrending..from start to finish. It is so well written, lol. The last two lines just seem to stand out , and sum up your whole poem with the words "whatever happened to us." Hoping things is better,

    I am soo srry dat it made u feel dis way. i didnt mean to make u feel lik dis. i do still love u, dat will neva change. but also i hav changed alot nd i dont no if i can be da person i waz before. but no matta wat i will luv u wit all my heart. nd i hope u grow u love da new me.
