Leandro (Prose; Part II)

by Debbie   Nov 24, 2007

There was, however, one quality of Leandro's prominent features that palpably transfixed my whole being--his emerald eyes. It seemed to me that the exceeding radiance of his bright green orbs, whose singular luster conjured images of spring, of rebirth, and of youth therein, brought forth into my heart substantial feelings of thrill and exhilaration: just one quick glance at those orbs enriched my joy, intensified my pleasure, and magnified my bliss all the more. Epitomizing the stunningly beautiful Adonis on earth, he provided tangible evidence that he was certainly a part of the springtime of youth by means of his luminous eyes of jade. Without a doubt, I was deeply captivated with his earnest glance that an ever-increasing anxiety enthused within while I await the morrow to come and gawk at his eyes once more. It thus became apparent to me that the love I had for Leandro was deeply rooted from such an ocular magnetism.

Wrapped in each other's warm embrace, surrounded by cherubs and seraphs aloft our heads, we basked ourselves in a bed of roses of our perpetual love. Meanwhile, on a typical charming date in our celestial mansion, while we danced with the manifold stars in perpetuity, he bent over in obeisance and vowed to love no one else but me. And I, without fear or favor, entrusted him my entire existence...
