Ultimate Sin

by Tisha   Dec 23, 2007

As she stares out the window
He'll be home soon ,she knows

When she talked to him ,he said that he was on his way
She asks herself Why should this be different than any other day

He comes in past dark with an excuse why he is late
She has no other choice but to just sit and wait

He has a life that most would want for their own
A loving family that sits and waits for him to come home

There is a second part to his life that most don't know about
He sits at the bar waiting to pick up a girl, there is no doubt

After he drops her off, he quickly drives home to his wife
To the woman that he pretends is his entire life

He tells her that he had to work over late and hopes it wont happen again
he'll never admit to her that he is committing the ultimate sin

The next day comes and it is time for him to be there
She just sits and looks out the window and stares
