Color Me Morbid

by mier   Dec 23, 2007

Weeping hollow in monadic and cannibal delight,
I fall in between thorns blooming in the twilight.
Winter eyed statues watches my grotesque syndrome,
writhing in mock euphoria at my demented odium.

Spectral mephisto descends into my shrouded conscience,
tainting the somber smiles of a corrupted ambience.
I dance to the midnight masque of my misanthropy,
while puzzled eyes of cyanide banshees mouthed heresy.

Devour my ruptured lullaby at sixes and sevens,
while a phantom dreamer ravages my sodomised innocence.
Recruiting raven eyed ghouls to recite my epicedium,
draining the blood that breath in the veins of my Elysium.

This sepia funeral frolicked like an enslaved marionette,
adorned with bulwark visions and eccentric acrobat.
Remain enshrined to my epitaph of abysmal greed.
Pale is the shade of my regret so take this palette,
and color me morbid.

Wow... I can't express how much I like this. It is so complex and excellently written, with hues of darkness that ornament each stanza. Amazing write, spectacular and brilliant from the beginning to the end. Every stanza holds equal amounts of uniqueness and power.
    Superbly done!
