Sticks and Holes

"Sticks & Holes*

Dialed numbers dig into skin
Round and round
They play, they win
Dig up a grave filled with tears
Up and down
Through unkempt years

Lonely men
Make lonely graves
Lonely girls
They couldn't save
Lonely men
Make lonely graves
Sticks and holes
The roads they pave

Fog drifts into bitter eyes
North to south
Their sobs, their cries
Drift away into agony
East through west
There so pretty

Lonely men
Make lonely graves
Lonely girls
They couldn't save
Lonely men
Make lonely graves
Sticks and holes
The roads they pave

A sweet ambush
Of frosted pain
Soil and blood
On spots they'd lain
Dirt is burying them
Dirt is burying them
Its all a game, its all a game

Lonely men
Make lonely graves
Angelic girls
They couldn't save
Lonely men
Make lonely graves
Sticks and holes
The roads they pave

Lonely men
(sticks and holes)
Lonely men
(sticks and holes)
Lonely men
(sticks and holes)
Lonely men
The hell they pave

Excellent but I think a better word for lonely would be desperate. Although, all men were lonely at one point.

I like this one very much, but it could be longer.
