Escape In Death.
By: Paula .C.

Love.
It was not love we shared, not the passion that
overcomes your when you with the one and
all is as it should be...

No it was binding.

Binding, like thorns embracing you in a struggle
you want to win, but don't want to endure the pain.

Ah, but how do you win the struggle when each
breath shies away from hurting those beloved 'thorns'
That by even thinking about hurting them you feel
as if you would die...

Pain.

Pain no matter what your decision...
Yet it's a decision you must make.
Love or Die.

Literally.

What's happiness in the face of death anyway?
Whats joy when you can breath?
Whats passion...when you can make someone else happy?

EVERYTHING.

What point is there for life if you shall not enjoy it?
Just throw it away, stomp on your happiness and watch others smile...
rip your heart out and place it in there palm...and laugh when you began
to feel that familiar ache...
Is that what life is?
To put forth all of you and only get a small fraction of them in return?
To watch them take advantage of your insecurities.
Manipulation, Possesion and Control becoming their only feeling's to-wards
you hidden behind a well crafted illusion of love?

No! all that is nothing!

So embrace your right and what you deserve, struggle against the
choking vines, revel in the cutting pain knowing it will be dulled soon
and close your eyes to the knowledge that you decided the outcome
and now will live with everything as it should be...

A Metaphor.
I know it's rough. but I write from
my life from my emotions, and frankly my emotions are rough.
Comments and votes would be appreciated.
Thanks.
