Tick-Tock

by The girl who doesnt care   Jul 17, 2013

I wait in painstaking silence for someone to find my secret.
I wait for the puzzle pieces to come together forming the picture of my need.
I wait for help,
for the caring shoulder of a friend to cry on,
for the support and of my family.
I wait for my scars to fade even if I wish they would stay.
I wait for love to come and change me,
to open my eyes to what I've been missing.
But the clock keeps ticking and I grow impatient while I wait for the impossible.
