Covered up

I covered up my tears,
with my make-up.

i covered up my scars,
with my baggy jumper.

i covered up my pain,
with a plastered on fake smile.

i covered up my demons,
with a fake me.

i covered up my broken heart,
with a fake laugh.

i slip up today, i showed someone the real me,
they ran for the hills, my mind is too f@!ked up.

i covered up my messed up mind,
with my death.
