What You Do Not See

by shadow   Dec 13, 2014

Falling endlessly,
through these shattered skies.
You bruised my soul,
with your complex lies.

I see the world,
but it doesn't see me.
The sound of a billion feet,
marching through eternity.

Pushed to the edge,
Darkness plagues my mind.
Fresh emotions surfacing,
from old memories left behind.

You will never understand,
so I won't bother to try and explain.
I will live with this emptiness forever.
Again and again and again.
