Injury

by Sophie   Dec 15, 2014

I ignore you

In the sunlight

I try my best to block you out.

But the sun begins to set

And you creep back in

Before I can do anything about it.

Spinning around

Tormenting me

With what could,

should and didn't happen

It's when I can feel open

Open to you

Like I once did before

And now I bleed

I bleed all over me

Out of my mouth

Out of my eyes

It seeps out before I can stop it

My openness was injured

My trust was broken

And it was you who made it hurt.
