Ignored

I am floating far above them,
I can see their tears and frowns,
The rope lays on the floor,.
From where they cut me down...
.
Everyone is crying hard,
And the tears run down their face,
Now most are screaming, Why?
Did she hang herself this way...

If they would have only listened,
And heard my frightening cries,
But they were always busy,
So I left them and I died...

They thought I had no problems,
Just because I was a teen,
I tried to tell them many times,
But they never heard my screams...

They were so wrapped up in their problems,
That they never saw my fears,
Nor the amount of times I cried,
Death hiding behind my tears...

I am young and never learned,
Just how to cope with life,
I felt there was no way out,
So another knot I tied...

The rope was hanging from the beam,
In the closet of my room,
Waiting there to wipe away,
All the fear and all the gloom...

One last time I knocked on your door,
But you just yelled at me,
Go back to your room we're busy,
So again I turned to flee...

I put the rope around my neck,
I was crying because no one cared,
I kicked away the wooden chair,
Which left me hanging there...

I guess my mother found me,
But it is not like I'll be missed,
I made her late for bridge,
And now she's probably pissed...

If they had only listened,
But now its just too late,
In the darkened closet of my room,
Is where I sealed my fate...
